RIVERSIDE TENTING
TENT CAMPING ALONG THE COLORADO RIVER
Experience camping under the stars along the Colorado River, our level tent sites are tucked into the cottonwood trees or along the riverbank. Quiet and secluded from the rest of the campground, with the best panoramic views of surrounding mesas, and access to all of our amenities including our modern shower house. Perfect for families or adventure travelers who also enjoy nice amenities!
These sites are ideal for tent camping, campervans and truck campers but no trailers are allowed.
Maximum 6 guests per site, 2 adults are included in the base rate. Additional person charge for additional adults, children (under the age of 18) are free. 2 vehicles are allowed per site (one inhabited vehicle and one passenger vehicle). Overflow parking available for additional vehicles. 2 tents are allowed per site, but they must fit on the tent pad. Shade structures are allowed but cannot obstruct pathways or interfere with other guests’ enjoyment.

COLORADO RIVERFRONT CAMPING
Experience unique Colorado River camping with our primitive campsites. We are just a short distance from Clifton, Fruita and Grand Junction. These one-of-a-kind campsites are adjacent to the Colorado River, just steps away from the water, shaded by tall trees, and offer stunning views of fruit and wine country. Palisade Basecamp RV Resort has it all!
Each site has a dedicated tent set-up pad that is 12′ x 16′ and communal water supply. No trailers are allowed in this area of the campground. There is also a portable restroom for these sites, and the shower house is only a short walk up a scenic trail.
There are select sites that have electrical. Please call our office if you’d like to make sure you are in a site with a dedicated electrical outlet or note that request in your reservation at check-out.

RIVER VIEW CAMPING
